LEATHER

Add pops of colour with leather pieces – from sophisticated gold fans made from a foiled gold leather to bri-i-ight geometric teal statement earrings. All leather jewellery is sourced in the Western Cape and where possible we use off-cuts which would otherwise be thrown out. The designs for these pieces are usually hand drawn and then recreated in a digital format before they are laser-cut, washed individually by hand and assembled.

Leather is a natural product and some of our pieces are dyed to give them their distinct colours. While every care has been taken to make sure that our pieces are absolutely clean after laser-cutting, some may cause a transfer of colour onto clothing for the first few wears. Please check the piece (necklaces in particular) before wearing with light colours. 

Please treat your White Rabbit Days pieces with care, lay them flat or hang them up when they're not being worn and they will remain in good condition. Hairspray, make-up and perfume may cause the earrings to discolour or change. 

We only use sterling silver 925 hooks, studs and chains. Our gold hooks are made from rolled gold and are hypo-allergenic. Some of the findings we use are plated so please let us know if you have any allergies and we can advise as to whether you'll be able to wear the pieces. Tarnished silver hooks can be buffed with a soft cloth to regain their shine.

METALS 

We use both brass and silver for our jewellery. All metals are hand cast in Cape Town, each piece is cleaned up and polished to a high shine. 

Please treat your White Rabbit Days metal pieces with care, store them individually where they won't be scratched by other jewellery and they will remain in good condition. Hairspray, perfume and make-up  as well as just general contact may cause tarnishing. Pieces are easily buffed back to their original glory with a soft cloth.
